Description

Virtual Tour Project is a VR application designed for the construction industry, allowing users to explore various locations within a virtual environment. The project was developed using Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprints, with a team consisting of one developer and one designer. As the developer, I maintained constant communication with the designer to ensure seamless integration of design elements and technical functionality. My work involved optimizing level design, lighting, and performance to achieve a smooth VR experience. Using Unreal Engine and the XR toolkit, I integrated VR capabilities, enabling teleportation and walking within the virtual space, interaction with objects, and customization of environmental elements.

Development Process

In the Virtual Tour Project, I focused on creating an immersive and interactive VR experience for users. This involved working on all aspects of level design, including the placement of objects, lighting setup, and overall environment optimization. By leveraging the XR toolkit, I successfully integrated VR functionalities, enabling users to move around and interact with the virtual space naturally. Regular communication and collaboration with the designer were crucial in ensuring that the visual and functional aspects of the project were aligned, resulting in a polished and engaging final product.
